ABOUT:
Senator Blumenthal, elected to the US Senate in 2010 and reelected in 2016 and 2022, prioritizes consumer safety, holding companies accountable for product quality. As Commerce Consumer Protection subcommittee chair, he advocates for responsible tech platform behavior. He secures federal funding for Connecticut's modernized transportation, promotes veteran support, and authored the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention Act. He serves on the Judiciary, Homeland Security, Armed Services, Veterans' Affairs, and Aging Committees.
