Councils are member-led groups that help the Chamber provide relevant information to its greater membership about timely topics, whether through press releases, blogs, or events, while offering pertinent networking opportunities based on your areas of interest. Typically, Councils have a Chair or Co-Chairs, supported by a Chamber staff liaison, and meet monthly or bi-monthly. Dates and structure will be discussed for new Councils at their first meeting.
Human Resources Council
HR professionals keep the Chamber informed of labor law updates, best practices for recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, and other relevant or innovative ideas to support an engaged workforce.
