Event Description:

The meeting will focus on the Beacon Wind 1 project, which is projected to provide reliable, renewable power to more than a million New York homes by delivering power from an offshore wind farm from waters east of Long Island to New York City. 
 
This workshop will provide an overview of this important project to help New York meet its decarbonization and clean energy goals. The event will be an opportunity to learn about project details, development timeline, and the permitting process, meet the project team, and share what is most important to you, as well as discuss related topics including fisheries and marine logistics, offshore wind and the environment, jobs, community benefits, and more.
