You are invited to commemorate of the completion of the rehabilitation of the pier at the Gales Ferry Intermodal site.
Guests will arrive at 2 pm and the ceremony will begin at 2:30 pm with brief remarks by local leaders followed by a ribbon cutting and light refreshments. The event is rain or shine.
The Cashman companies specialize in marine construction, marine equipment, renewable energy and associated industries and have demonstrated experience in revitalizing abandoned or underutilized marine industrial facilities in the Northeast. The Gales Ferry Intermodal facility is in a strategic location for Cashman as it is situated between the marine facilities it owns and operates in Quincy Massachusetts and Staten Island NY and will be able to service the needs of many marine operations in Connecticut on or near the Thames River and of several proposed offshore wind generation projects that will be developed in waters from Massachusetts to New York/New Jersey.
