Backus to Offer Free Prostate Screenings Oct 17

Norwich, CT – Backus Hospital will offer free prostate cancer screenings on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 9am − 1pm, in the hospital’s main lobby conference rooms at 326 Washington Street, in Norwich.
 
Urologists will conduct a DRE prostate exam, and a PSA blood test will be drawn. PSA results will be available in a week. Men who have not seen a urologist within the past year are eligible for this free screening.
