Coast Guard Lacrosse Ranked by Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine

New London, CT – Coast Guard men's lacrosse open the season with a spot on the Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine Division III national rankings. After a dominating 10-1 win over Elizabethtown in the season opener on Saturday, the Bears earned the #20 spot in the rankings.
Senior goalie Trey Johnson backstopped the Bears with 13 saves on 14 shots in the victory. Junior Logan Morin led the Bears offense with a hat trick, while senior Benner Geurtsen and sophomore Will Iorio both scored two goals a piece.
The Bears are back in action on Wednesday,February 27 at 6:00 PM as they host RPI.
