New logo, new look!
This spring, CorePlus Federal Credit Union will have a new look! The credit union will be undergoing a major renovation at their Salem Tpke, Norwich branch, and unveiling a bright, fresh new logo and slogan: Smart Banking. Community Trusted.
With these changes, CorePlus is demonstrating that we are a different type of credit union – one that is tailor-made to meet our Members’ needs, with increased technology, greater Member service efficiency, and reduced overhead costs. The renovations at our headquarters will be so exciting! By utilizing the existing space more wisely, we can serve Members in person, over the phone or online, in a comfortable, more productive environment. In the upcoming weeks the community will start to see the distinctive new logo integrated into our branches, products and services. Please be assured that these exciting changes are not changing who we are at our core! We’re still the same credit union that you have grown to love banking with, still rooted deeply in the Eastern Connecticut communities that we serve.

2016 is our 80th year in service to our Members. From our humble beginnings, just $15 and 27 members in 1936, we have grown to serve 22,000 people in Eastern CT. As a community credit union, Members trust us to safeguard their savings, provide low cost loan products, and the full range of financial services that every family needs. Online and mobile banking through It’s Me 24/7 are just two of the many electronic services CorePlus Credit Union offers our members. Bill pay service, text and e-mail alerts, A2A (transfer funds to/from another institution), E-Pay (online loan payments to CorePlus from another institution), e-statements and more are in place and available to you today. CorePlus Federal Credit Union, founded in 1936, currently has 9 full service branches locally in Norwich, Taftville, Groton, East Lyme, Waterford, Plainfield and the recently opened Putnam and Brooklyn Walmart Supercenter branch offices.
