CorePlus to Host Home Buying Seminar May 18

CorePlus Federal Credit Union will host a Home Buyer Seminar on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 5.30pm – 7.00pm.  The seminar will be held at CorePlus’ Waterford location at 67 Lathrop Road, Plainfield (in the Big Y plaza).  Light refreshments will be served.
 
Led by Mortgage Team Leader Barbara Zendzion, the seminar will feature a presentation of ‘Home Buyer’ basics for first time home buyers, people interested in downsizing or expanding due to a changing family situation, or vacation home purchasers.
 
Topics to be covered are:  

• Who’s who in the buying process?
• Affordability and down payment strategies
• Mortgage pre-qualification and pre-approvals
• Financing programs and options (including FHA, USDA, VA & Rural Development Loans)
• Benefits of home ownership
