CorePlus to Host Home Buying Seminar April 14 in Waterford

Is 2016 going to be the year that you buy a home? Do you have questions about mortgage financing, applications, appraisals, assessments, inspections?  
 
CorePlus Federal Credit Union will host a Home Buyer Seminar on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5.30pm – 7.00pm.  The seminar will be held at CorePlus’ Waterford location at 40 Boston Post Road.  Light refreshments will be served.
 
Led by Mortgage Team Leader Barbara Zendzion, the seminar will feature a presentation of ‘Home Buyer’ basics for first time home buyers, people interested in downsizing or expanding due changing a family situation, or vacation home purchasers.
 
Topics to be covered are:

• Who’s who in the buying process?
• Affordability and down payment strategies
• Mortgage pre-qualification and pre-approvals
• Financing programs
• Benefits of home ownership

Also on hand will be local realtors, home insurance providers and real estate attorneys to answer additional questions.
