Ledyard Rotary Provides Defibrillator to The Arc New London County

Norwich, CT – The Ledyard Rotary Foundation, Inc. has donated $995 to The Arc of New London County to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the agency’s Sachem Street facility.
The building is home to a variety of programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including a day support program for approximately 45 people, many of whom are seniors, as well as Community Life & Advocacy, which offers civic and social mentoring and activities for approximately 172 people with I/DD. All staff will be trained in proper use of the AED as part of the agency’s standard and ongoing professional training curriculum.
