Wireless Zone Awards $20,000 in Grants to Local Pet Rescue Organizations

Verizon Authorized Retailer, Wireless Zone, recently awarded $20,000 in grants to local pet rescue organizations during the annual Rescues Rock Pet Adoption Event on May 11th. The recipients, All Paws on Deck (Griswold) and Wings of Freedom Animal Rescue (Groton), each received $10,000 to support their rescue efforts.

In addition to the grants, Wireless Zone is hosting a Pet Supply Drive from May 1 to May 31, 2024. Local stores are collecting gently used towels, blankets, cat and dog toys, treats, collars, leashes, pet beds, and more. This initiative is part of the company's quarterly focus on community support, with this quarter dedicated to aiding animal rescue organizations.
