Old Saybrook, CT – The Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small businesses, will present a free Small Business Workshop on "How to Manage Your Professionals."
Have you ever recruited, interviewed, trained and sometimes terminated an employee or vendor? Have you ever done the same with your Professionals – accountant, attorney, banker, insurance agent(s) or others? Do you know what questions to ask your Professionals to meet your expectations, and do you know how to interpret the answers they provide?
This workshop will look at these issues from the perspective of your home and personal property, your business assets, employees, retirement, and cash flow.
Not having an effective team of Professionals can lead to working hard and going nowhere or worse – possible business failure. Learning how to develop an effective team can be implemented in a matter of hours – it is worth your time to find out how!
This workshop is hosted in partnership with Russell Library, Middletown.
About Workshop Presenter Brian Noe
Brian’s focus is on the small family business owner. His credentials include past experience growing businesses, an adjunct Professor of Economics at Central Connecticut State University and other institutions, and consulting as an economic analyst for business and government. In addition, Brian has been a guest speaker at industry annual conventions and small business groups, and writes articles for industry magazines. Brian’s goal is to help small family business owners deal with our current economic cycle with education and facts, not guess and hope. He also wants to protect you from unnecessary claims and lawsuits. As your advocate, he wants to know what is important to you and your family, and how he can help you get there.
